About Me

Hi, I’m Jasmine. For most of my life, I was all about the hustle. I worked hard, built careers, managed and owned businesses, and thrived in the fast-paced world of hair and beauty. I ran hair and skin clinics, styled hair in a busy salon, and poured myself into every role I took on. I loved what I did and I did it well but there was always this underlying feeling that something didn’t quite fit.

When I became a mum, it all started to shift. The systems and coping strategies that had carried me through years of work and life suddenly weren’t enough. I found myself craving presence, balance, and a calmer way to live. Around the same time, I received my ADHD diagnosis like many women in their 30s, having children brought long-hidden patterns to the surface. The diagnosis was validating in a way nothing else had been: it helped me understand why I had always felt different and why the old ways of doing life no longer worked.

Even before this, I’d always loved creating things with my hands: baking, cooking from scratch, growing food, and finding joy in simple, tangible projects. Now, I’ve taken that love all the way in, building a lifestyle that’s slow, balanced, and grounded in low-tox choices. It’s about growing and preserving my own food, making herbal remedies, cooking from scratch, and weaving these practices into a life that nourishes both me and my family and feels so much more aligned.

This blog is my space to share that journey, the lessons, the experiments, the successes, and the small everyday ways we can create a life that feels intentional, joyful, and connected. A life where we can slow down, care for ourselves, and still thrive in the real world.

I’m so glad you’re here! I hope you stick around. 🫶🏻
